if you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place for you. pulling up to the place it looks a little sketchy. due to the siding being weathered. don't be fooled by the outside this place was beyond clean. very private and peaceful. the inside was very bright with natural light. cozy. decorated very tastefully. the host was very friendly and quick to respond. I have no complaints about this place and would book it again without hesitation. the view was amazing. the sound of the birds the wildlife was pretty cool. had a few chipmunks, some deer and the frogs in the pond. not to loud.all and all this place was well worth the price and we are look forward to returning. as it was rainy most of the time we didn't get the chance to cook outside on the charcoal grill or use the huge table for dining outside.
My husband and i wanted a weekend getaway from the City to celebrate our boy's 5th birthday. He loves nature and exploration and we felt like this cabin was exactly what we needed. We had privacy, and a big area for our dog to walk around. The house was just so peaceful, and the scenic views of the town did not disappoint. It definitely gave us ALL a reset.
The thing that stood out most was how clean it was! No crumbs or dust, clean sink, clean bathroom , clean sheets. And the surprising well stocked kitchen, with stainless steel cookware and about 5 different ways to make coffee. Instructions on how to check in and out are clear and easy to follow, and the team is very responsive if you have an issue. There is a loud banging sound in the pipes sometimes, but do not worry, it is not someone trying to get in, it is just water hammer. Easy to ignore after a bit. The mattresses are definitely Firm, and some may wish for a mattress topper, but the couch is quite cosy and squishy. Would definitely stay again if the situation presented itself.
