There is a short, gently sloped driveway with ample parking. The driveway is plowed in the winter and shoveled to the entrance.

Groceries stores, gas stations, shopping, farmers markets and more are all located with 15 to 20 minutes in Walton, Delhi, Hamden and Oneonta.

A vehicle is necessary to get around. There is no or limited Uber or transportation services in the area.

In the winter months when snow is likely (October through April) AWD or 4WD is recommended along with all weather or snow tires with good tread.
